Home Reversion

A home reversion plan requires the applicant to be aged 60 years or over. The lender provides a tax-free lump sum for the agreed portion of your home (this will be for below the market value). You will then live rent-free in your property until your death, where the property will then be sold. The proceeds of the sale will be split based on the percentages owned by you and the lender. The exact rate will be determined by the market prices at the time of your death.You should be aware that arrangement fees must be factored into the overall cost.
